The call of the crew is Vostoki (so Vostok 1, 2 and 3)

Voice comm.-s via 121.750 mc, Telemetry and beacon on 166.130 mc.

During pass in orb. 3 between 0711 and 0713UTC. Short call by Tyurin.

During pass in orb. 4 between 084139 and 0846UTC Tyurin with TsUP-Moscow. T. reports the good performance of a manoeuvre and of the 2 impulses. He adds several data such as: SOTS installed (or: placed, loading current 27.3, an experiment was switched on, they did not see the format BNO, they should have looked at the KDU, but the impulse was relatively short, they did the calibration in time. Lopez-Alegria reports: We are ready for it. T. confirms this. They switched on the accelerometer.

During pass in orb. 5 between 1014 and 101915UTC voice comm-s. T. reports that they switched off accelerometer and several tests that had been executed. All is stable . TsUP-M reads out a number of schedule times.

ISS: From 1047-1057UTC during pass in ISS Orb. 44787, Vinogradov reports via VHF-1 data in relation to the overheating of the Elektron oxygen generator. This resulted in a fire alarm. Vin and TsUP-M decided to stop to try to solve this problem this afternoon. Tomorrow they will continue this.

Orbit 18: Short comm. session Tyurin reports the replacement of a purification cartridge.

Orbit 19: Time appr. 0832UTC. Some short contacts of Tyurin and Lopes-Alegria with TsUP-M.

Orbit 20: Time appr. 1005UTC. Shift switched on at 1150 M-time. Ready to write down data. TsUP reads out some schedule times.

3rd day flight S-TMA9. Approach and docking (soft mate) on 20 September 2006 in ISS orb. 44815, 0516-0521UTC. Comms, about this operation via 121.750mc. This was equal to that what had been relayed via NASA TV. Docking exactly at 0521UTC, this was also the LOS time for the Netherlands.

21 September 2006, pass in orb. IRS 44831, 0537-0545UTC. Vinogradov establishes comm.-session for Ansari with an American at TsUP-M. In English she tells about the periods in which she had problems with motion sickness (throwing up included). She also tells that she swallowed pills and asked for an extra injection shot.

During the pass in IRS Orb. 44832, 0711-0715UTC. TsUP-M very strong in back ground on VHF-1. TsUP-M says that they receive the ISS very weak. Preparations for conversation via TV-channel (possibly for CNN) for Ansari. Ansari could be heard for a short time. The conversation took place after LOS of ISS for the Netherlands.

22 September 2006. Via 143.625 mc during pass in Orb. 44848 Tomas Reiter via Munich to Cologne. He wants to start a conversation with Reinhold Ewald. Reiter uses for this comm. session English, Russian and German.

Again via 143.625 mc during pass in Orb. 44849. Vinogradov prepares conversation of Tyurin with a lady at TsUP-M. Tyurin is very positive about all, a nice sphere of both crews, a lot of joy a.s.o.

The lady compliments them.
